The Hyatt Zilara and Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay Jamaica is a great place for girl’s trips, couples, families or anyone who wants to have fun in the sun at a beautiful all-inclusive resort. In March, Classy Destinations took a group of 19 women to this tropical paradise and boy did we have a blast!
This property is located a short 10 minute drive from the Montego Bay airport. It was originally built as the Ritz Carlton in 1999 and underwent an $85 million dollar renovation to become Hyatt’s first dual-branded, all-inclusive resort in Jamaica opening in 2014. The Zilara is the adults only side which has 234 suites of which 32 are swim up whereas the Ziva has 386 suites with 25 of them being swim up. The 2 resorts are connected by a sidewalk where a security guard is posted to make sure that the Zilara remains adults only. One of the many advantages to staying at the Zilara is the access to all the dining and entertainment at the Ziva.
Our group all stayed on the Zilara side and definitely enjoyed both properties. There is a swim up bar at both resorts as well as entertainment each night. Everyone enjoyed the food and commented that it was much better than they expected for an all-inclusive resort. You can taste your way around the world with various cuisines they have in store: Jamaican, French, Italian, American and Asian are some of the options. We had the best fish and chips some of us have ever tasted!
A few of us enjoyed a massage at the Zen spa and others utilized the extensive fitness facility. One in our group even won the push up contest by the pool! You could also kayak, rent a catamaran, snorkel or ride the surf on a boogie board. For those golf lovers, you can choose between the famous White Witch or Cinnamon Hill golf courses which are right across the street.
There is so much to do and so many ways to relax and have fun at this wonderful property just a short and direct plane ride from Atlanta. You need to check it out yourself!
